Corinne’s signature framework

The F.C.T.H Method

Flavor · Color · Texture · Height

My framework gives you these four things to look for. Together, they help you decide what to choose, where to place it, and what your board needs next.

FFlavor Salty, sweet, briny and creamy, so every bite is different.
CColor Fresh fruit, dried fruit and a little green.
TTexture Something soft, something firm, something crunchy.
HHeight A bowl, a stacked cheese or a salami rose, so it’s never flat.

Hi, I’m Corinne!

I’ve spent more than ten years working in restaurants and events, but some of my favorite lessons in hosting came from my grandparents. There was always a spread waiting when we arrived, and they had a way of making you feel so welcome.

Hosting is still my favorite thing, and boards are where it all comes together. So I took everything I do when I build a board and turned it into a simple framework you can follow at home.
