The recipe
Ingredients
How to make it
Mix the turkey, apple, oats, egg, maple syrup, Dijon, herbs, and salt until just combined.
Form into patties, tucking a small piece of Havarti into the center of each. Seal the edges well so the cheese stays inside.
Heat a little olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the burgers for about 6 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until the centers reach 165°F.
Add more Havarti on top toward the end of cooking and cover briefly to melt.
Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.

Apple Pie with All-Butter Crust
Apple pie has always been one of my favorites. Whenever I’m home in Massachusetts in the fall, apple picking and a homemade pie are pretty much a given. I have so many good memories of the oven warming the kitchen while it’s cold outside, the whole house smelling like cinnamon apples and buttery crust, and everyone finding their way into the kitchen for a slice. It’s one of those little traditions that makes being home feel like home.
